So as some of you may have seen, I bought Dum-Dum's 2.1 sedan off him as a replacement for my sadly retired 405.
spec as follows:
2.1TD Lump
HDi Box
9mm Bosch with gov mod
FMIC
Boost gauge
induction kit
16" slim fan
Exhaust made from pug 605 front pipe, shortened 306 hdi mid section and standard back box with the hanger re welded about 2" further back
ph3 front end conversion with crystals and smoothed bonnet
ph3 repeaters
HDi 266mm front brakes
Citroen berlingo 16" steel wheels
10mm spacers front 15mm rear
205/50R16 tyres, mainly Michelins with good tread
Meridian half leather interior (bar rear backrest)
Sony headunit
Vibe black air 6x9s in rear shelf
206 HDi gear knob
ph3 bumper
smoothed ph3 bonnet
rallye blanks
smoothed bonnet
smoothed grill
some further reading for those of you interested in the engine swap itself http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-8573.html
and now for some pictures after its first well deserved clean, there was so much coal on the back it looked like it had been on fire haha

havnt really decided what to do with it yet, it needs to remain reasonably sensible as its my new daily but im sure it will inevitably end up with a stupidly rude turbo and god knows what else. its going to be somewhat of a gt spec car since im using it every day, so nice interior mods, maybe phase 1 front end back on if the bonnet clears the 2.1

You should just drop everything from this into a 405 That way you can have the nice interior mods lol.

I've arranged for the 405 to be collected on monday, quite sad about it really haha
if I do end up with another 405 in the future I think an t16 estate would be a cool project

i was thinking more 405 estate + 206gti 180 engine + big turbo = win
as yes, a genuine t16 is a rare beast and i would never be able to afford one just to rip out and use as a project engine.
also i fully intend to "finish" the sedan, trip to KrisB is on the cards soon to make some improvements

only a safety update, was a bit concerned that the battery wasn't held down onto the tray by anything other than gravity, so quickly knocked up a bracket. held down properly now, not going anywhere
also fitted the wind deflectors
before:
after: (obviously it was bolted down after this picture)

it actually is a bit sharper, the old filter was grim. running veg in -2 soon thickens it up.
running on straight diesel now seeing as its so cold and thats going to have helped using a higher octane fuel without so much water in as veg
