Iirc they can't do you for it unless they are in use on the road same with blues as long as they aren't really obvious
Expect they would draw their attention though

If i was driving round like a knob jockey with them on then fair play, however I work with these on a daily basis so please get off your misguided high horse and accept that, in this instance, you're wrong. Not only am I qualified to work on the roads, you don't actually need a "permit" as you call it. The RVLR state that: "(vii) a vehicle used for the purpose of inspecting, cleansing, maintaining, adjusting, renewing or installing any apparatus which is in, on, under or over a road, or for any purpose incidental to any such use;" So if my car breaks down, I can flip the beacons on to make a safer working environment. If I park in a town centre and flip them on to impress my chav mates, it's illegal. Thanks bbz.

well, there you go then....
anyway, that paint, you gonna be incorporating anymore nato colors? Ive got access to all military paints at work, would be cool tyo see some nato grey or brown on there, the proper stuff is amazing, completely scratch, chip and crack proof, you cant even shotblast it off lol

Possibly, I need to look into ways to fatigue the paint as it's all a bit too fresh for my liking. Was originally considering olive, reed or sand but settled on this, might texture it with another shade though. Great thing about it being acrylic graffiti stuff is you can paint what you want, when you want, with no prep or hassle!

I am impressed that you have yet again found a whole new evolution to this car but I shall reserve judgement on the actual look until its a little more finished.

Guns would be epic but walking a very fine line between legal and prison time!
For those of you who don't follow it on Facebook/Instagram, here's what happened today. Start off with a printer, a craft knife and a military font and you get... Next, the standard bus journey to the shed of doom. Call me clichéd but on the drive over, my music completely on random came up with a couple of Rob Zombie songs, Bodies, Daylight Dies and Show Me How To Live. Ominous? Like zombies to the slaughter.. Anyway, out came the paint in what turned out to be another day of cracking weather, the results are thus: Fun times.

Dont get me wrong i LOVE the idea of a ratted estate, and most of all LOVE the gt2056 "badge", some amazing ideas and i like how you encorporate rust into the paintwork, but i can't help but admire the car before it went green, how it was looking when we visited you guys.
But as always, your car, no doubt it will look amazing

TBH mate, i'm braced for that kind of reaction, the white version seemed to strike a chord with a lot of people and I was overwhelmed with the reception it got at the tail end of last year. People move on though and ideas evolve, yeah maybe it would have been nice to have a perfected motor but i'd be forever chasing blemishes in the paint or stressing over coal on the back of it. Now? Who cares? It'll look dirty even when it's clean Plus, i'm yet to see what reaction it gets when it parks outside the house. Might set up a time lapse from my living room window to see all the Airdrie-ites and their confused expressions
