Even though it's a phase 1, it's had a front end conversion, which when it comes to voting kinda ruins the idea of voting for "best phase 1". Anyone that sees the results would instantly think "that's not a phase 1?"

That's up to voters to decide. For me, no, it's purely functional... the rest is through and through phase 1

Presactly, Darren's said all along he hates the later front end, and is only using a ph3 bumper for the intercooler.
Mark's fitted later bumper, lights, slam panel, bonnet..

Lol that's a hypocritical statement, surely?
A certain car is a phase 1 over the other because it has "use" on his modified car, whereas the other is aesthetic?
IMO once a phase 1, always a phase 1, just as if a phase 2 COTM comes up, the vote is between phase 3 front end conversions, i'm sure they still get to attend the phase 2 category. I don't think marks car would enter the phase 3 cateogory either.
But yeh, i guess it's down to the voters.

No, they'd have a ph2 gti front end conversion, still a ph2
Nobody said mark couldn't enter, we were trying to find a reason why people weren't voting, the most obvious being that it doesn't look like a phase 1.
Back in your cave.

I was actually considering taking wonking'car photos today to make my car look nicer than it actually is. Perhaps you could share some pointers on this?

That's fine, your first job is buy something that's not a 205. Then, buy a nice camera (do they have them down there? Really clever bits of kit), oh and batteries, they're like portable electricity.
No amount of instagram filters can make your little red POS look respectable sir.
Oh almost forgot.

That's fine; once the 205 is up to standard, takes time, you should know this, i notice you're also still in the process of building the car
And yes, i'm pretty sure BRIGHTON does supply some nice camera's, i'd assume it has a wider range that the lochs of Scotland at least.
you can try get a new title, but i will always be " king - "

It had a mixture of different parts when I got it.
Also it has been a phase 1, 2 and 3.

hmm you misunderstand; it's similar to when people say something like "This is so fu**ing amazing" or "I cant fu**ing believe it"
you know, it's saying it in the tone, there he is, its "Captain fu**ing popcorn", the man himself!
Sorry, your Cpt Radweld isn't on the same status level.
