My White ZX Volcane. -Lowered and wheels on!
#31
I've actually been offered an ax with hydro cheap. Heads fried if I should take it and put it in the zx. There's a fair bit of work in it and I just want to drive this thing. It's almost too good an offer to turn down though. Still don't know what to be at.

I think the glass front is the same but any pics I look at they are different at the back. I'm sure I could get them on somehow.

I have literally rang every scrap yard with a 30 mile radius and no one had a volcane!! I'm jealous lol. If you're back any time soon ask him how much he needs for them. If they're cheap we might be able to work something out.

They look the same from memory, and similar to 205 ones I'm sure of it.

Surely it doesn't just have to be a volcane any zx fogs should fit.

theres a bit of corrosion around the edges of the lens, but reckon with some tlc you could save them. il ask how much when i go back, be going back before the 2nd as i need to collect a car i bought lol

Got a bit of a bargain this morning.

3 volcane centre caps
front bumper (with fogs and towing cover)
set of fans
headlights and indicators

all for £40

The fog lights had the usual rusty metal ring that holds the glass so this is what i did.

My bumper still needs strips!!! Ive heard the chrome one off the back of a 406 are the right shape so might try that.

So basically metro plates, bumper strip and thats it sitting as i want it.

Usual rusty crap

replaced with a wee washer i found, fits perfectly and seems really strong. Ive a good seal on the rubber as well so i hope the water stays out

Sisters black nail polish to take your eye away from the silver washer

Coming together nicely now lad, good idea with the washers around the fog lights, i had 5 foglights and was only able to make 2 decent ones out of the lot!

They seem to be holding up well even after a hard run down the road! It took a fair bit of searching round the garage to find a washer just the right size.

I went to the scrap yard and got a chrome strip off the back of a 406. I've it cut to size and sprayed ready to be glued on tomorrow, since i'm still off uni.

That maroon one looks really well. I've always liked that colour. I never seen the black one with spots.. Any pics? I remeber there was a red one with spotlights and superlites that went rat look in the end.
