Fitted my coilovers but the leg only goes about half way down maybe a touch more into the hub doe to the locating stub been welded to the outside. There originally off a 206 so not sure if this is the reason or it will be ok.

Grind the fucker off and drop it further down and just wack a nob of weld on higher up so it cant drop any more simples

There on now so can't get a welder in but there stainless arnt they so can't weld it to steel?

They hold rock solid still with the but tightened

You can weld steel to it but the weld will be brittle and obviously it'll rust.

The problem is, welding to a casing full of oil...

ive heard this is the case with these but I know of couple guys who have run them 20/30k miles no issues
