I got my bung off Gubo, but there are some on ebay! Yellow inlet may happen in the future...
Got replacement badge from Galphin I think... Same guy that does the boot badges!

Little update guys...
Spent a few months saving up to get the drive done at home so finally got it done so used the drive for the first time to clean and wax the car!!
Also fitted my Heko wind deflectors, which I am very happy with!!
Also been doing a little project with a 6 gear knob, thanks to Spike for that...
So, the knob started like this without leather...
A bit of bumper filler and paint, lots of prep and finishing, then Voilah....
Just need to get some trackrod ends done and some new tires as I have a pretty low tread on one, but want 50 profiles all round!!
Comments welcome guys as always!!

Wasn't hard to do, just a bit fiddly, trying not to get filler on my hands... Got another knob now so might do another one, maybe in Red yellow and blue...

Well, today has been interesting!
Was working over this morning, so decided to try drill out a sheared locking wheel bolt from when I changed my tyres back to front last week!
This was going well till a work mate suggested to try the thread extractor which then also sheared... New problem of not being able to drill it out anymore as the extractor was hardend steel... BIG SAGGY BALLS!!!
Anyway, the only thing to do now is get a new rear bearing at £50 something from Euros, don't like only changing one side, but with the other costs of new injectors, new tyres on all 4 corners, new TRE's and new locking bolts I can't afford to do 2, so one will have to wait!
Another bummer is that I got some new vinyl Rallye stickers for the sides and rear done in yellow! These were a little bigger than the originals in size, but would have looked great, if only I could get the old ones off!!! Some dozy plonk has laquered over the side stickers.
WHY, OH WHY would you do that!!!!
On the up side I have some more injectors coming and I got some freshly painted mirror caps on and secure to stop the annoying whistling ones I had on!!
I have also settled to go with 4 new Uniroyal RS2's. Can't wait, as then I will be painting the clones Astor grey and tinting the masks, a little bit, with Lamin-x.

Car looks very clean.
Where has the wheel bolt snapped, I presume only the shank remains and you can take the wheel off? try to use mole grips or a twist grip socket. Failing that a new bearing as you say, but you don't need to change both just for the sake of it!
Perhaps a hammer and cold chisel can still rotate it too.

Thanks mate, but after 2 hours at it and ruining the bearing in the end it's a new one I think! It was really tight flush to the hub/bearing!
It's not too hard to do a bearing change..! I hope!

Rear bearing changes are not that tricky, normally just getting the hub nut off which is nowhere near as much grief as the fronts.

Done 2 so far, just need a rub down with 1200 grit and compounding when the 2nd coat of lacquer has hardened..!
