not sure exactly where in reading scott has in mind but ive just looked and if we all book now, your looking at about £39 a night to book in most of the premier inns in reading...will obviously get pricier the closer it gets

Damn...just when I'm available in Birmingham, like 20 minutes from Cov, it moves to Reading, 2 hours away. Dagnabbit.

Should still be able to make it though, hopefully maybe.

Technically it's not moved anywhere as it was never going to be held in Coventry in the first place Wink

There are a group of hotels around the Caversham Bridge area (i.e. the Premier Inn in Niall's screenshot) which are a short walk from the town centre, and aren't at all far from the likes of TGI Friday. They'll be slightly cheaper, and they also have parking for guests.

So book the Caversham Bridge premier inn?

So Is it definitely Caversham Bridge that were staying at on the first weekend in December?

Is the hotel car park big enough for the meet or are we holding it elsewhere. Is that elsewhere free parking and safe to leave my car for a weekend cos I dont intend on being sober enough to move my car for most of the weekend.

The meet will be a Saturday with people staying Saturday night but the hardcore drinkers will probably go up Friday for a pre drinks session.

Just a thought, does anyone fancy a pre pre drinks on Thursday night (student night) in Uxbridge? Stay at mine?

Definitely Caversham Bridge area (at least two hotel chains next door to each other, think a couple of others are very close by too), and definitely the first weekend in December. I'll update the first post later Smile

If I remember correctly it's the Premier Inn that has a gated car park which is for guests only (i.e. not suitable for the meet, perfect for leaving your car for the weekend, however), though there's an industrial estate on the same road, and there are some places close by which will be suitable for the actual meet. I'll go there in advance when I'm back (if anyone wants to come with, feel free!) and we'll take a drive around Reading to find the best place.

Cool, so the main meet is Saturday? That's good, didn't wanna drive 250 miles to find everyone packing up and driving home lol

f*ck you all. I like how the screenshot of where "everyone is" doesn't even include Scotland lol

Well the bad news is I'm working every Saturday up to Xmas so I shall not be in attendance. I will however have a trouble free sleep and wake up the next day without profanities scrawled on my face in permanent marker. Which will be a shame.
