I dont understand how but on ebay a new GTi cat is about £70 posted but a de-cat pipe is £110 posted.

Cheap cats sound utter shite. I've got one on my car at te moment and it sounds terrible. Well it does until it's drowned out by the induction noise.

How did you keep yours there? I tied mine down but they wiggle out :-( and theyre a nightmare to fit because they keep scratching me

haha! It's not the noise Inside the tunnel; its just general hooliganism outside the tunnel where all can be heard...

I dunno if anyone actually heard the radio1 report a few months ago on this? Some reporter bird went in a locals 600hp skyline. and he lady garden it through the tunnel; she basically shat a brick on the radio. I lol'd.

tbf hers sounded better than your in the tunnel, might have been because she was hooning past me at 130mph in the tunnel :S

i think mine does pretty well on the noise scheme of things mine and marias going through the tunnel at the same time would be a little bit noisy...

Just finished fitting the the silenced **cat to the MX5 its sounds so good now. Lucky i don't have the neighbours. I best get my work finished before friday.
