Which, it turns out, is heavier than the standard one lol.
Pity spoox are full of shit, bollocks do they do them at cost price, can you seriously see Spoox doing/producing something that didn't make them richer? Annoys me when companies do that, just say no, don't insult my intelligence!

Depends what thickness it's laid up in and allsorts really, fiberglass can be frickin heavy!
I'd wager that my grille is pretty light, it's got a wee bit of filler on but the smoothed bit was formed by plastic-welding the recess up and cutting off the excess.
Of course you can't have it because it's mine.

Nope, replaced it already haha. Was holding out, the more it frayed, the more bits fell off, the more weight I was saving

And thus an equal percentage faster to the amount of weight you lost? Makes sense!

You'll want to port and polish the engine next mate, make sure there's no build ups anywhere internally which could be adding weight. Best way to do this is to turn the engine on (ideally when it's a cold morning, and first start of the day) with your foot on the throttle about half way. Get a bag of fine grain sand (the stuff from Homebase will do, but if you can get it from B&Q then that's better). Oh I forgot to mention you'll also need to get a funnel and remove the induction kit, as you'll be fitting the funnel on there. As you pour the sand in to the funnel make sure you go to full throttle, as this will nicely clean everything up inside.

Sweet deal, I'll go b&q as Samass gets discount and can get some really good stuff. Wouldn't it benefit from some rougher stuff maybe? Make it a lil easier? And work my way too finer stuff? How should I wash it out?
Also thinking about shedding some more weight from the engine bay. Go cart battery, light weight alternator maybe loosing a couple of pullies, with a shorter belt round the nesisities.
Taking the hids out too and replacing with lightweight bulbs.
Every little helps

Or Matt makes his own lightweight ones, complete with lightened cambelt covers (can see daylight through in places) and plenty of tapping to wear away precious grams of metal.
Sorry, thought id come back from holiday with a troll...

UPDATE TIME
Right changed over the ice from my old manifold that was on the xsi as I'm fed up of stalling at every junction.
Had a right pig doing it as yet again I tried to do it with abit engine and burnt myself everytime!
Anyway xsi one out, cleaned and put back together, now on the car and she is running sweet *touchwood*
And while I was at it thought I'd tart up the old manifold ready to put on the Rallye
All primed!
Nice and red
Next up lacquer, will be done after the paints set.
Then fitting.
Shortly to tackle the strut brace

Sweet.
What else are you going to strip?
I recommend leaving the front carpet in, it just gives that little bit more comfort to make it still feel like a car. Nick stripped his Rallye bare, only to put the front carpet section back in, because it wasn't too great without it. Also makes it look a bit scruffy where the dashboard starts if you don't have the carpet there.
When is the cage going in?!!
