A £700 '96 XRDT (called Leah)
A £300 Nissan Primera (2l!) called Simon. Was a really good car, got lots of attention from Asians!
Paid almost £3k for this 44k miles 1.8 306. (called Nikki)
Then my Mrs learned to drive, so what to get her? Another 1.8 306 (called David, cos it used to dribble fuel!)
Next was my Saab 9-3 (called Katie) which I am currently painting green. My mates call it my "mid life crisis" mobile
Had a bit of a "i need a cheaper car" wobble, and bought this, lovingly known as the "red shed" 2l HDi
Turned out to be awful. Thankfully no one wanted my Saab, so I sold the HDi and am back in a petrol again!

f*ck, I'm 20, I've owned my car for over 3 years!!
Only other car I've had is the metro, and we'll that didn't go well.. Bought the car for £700 wanting a unique classic (which to be fair only saw 1 other in a year). New alloys £80, new heater matrix, 3 sets of tyres, suspension pump up, new headlights, new windscreen, rocker cover, new carb, new rad, new rear seats... £1100 later I sold it the for £150 I miss out it so much.. Only 126 left in the country when I last checked
Oh and a huge bottle of oil every month!!

Erm, car history.
106 R reg 1.1 XL independence, RR'd at 62.0bhp and 60lbft YASS!
GTi rep, diablo red and VW dark grey - sold to a chav
205 1.6 GTi F reg, white, absolute shed but a hoot to drive. LOOS like a god on the Biggar Road heading to Edinburgh. 45 degree arse end out heading towards a lorry and survived! - scrapped
306 GTI6 P reg phase 1, phase 3 conversion, sundance yellow paint, Speedlines, 175bhp, hand made bespoke suspension stuffs, absolute joy to drive but thirsty as anything. Epic induction noise - broken for parts to build..
306 Estate LXTD. Bianca white, low and wide, 140-ish bhp? boost + derv, harder to drive than the gti tbh, feels more laboured, but got the shell and engine for free and used the gti bits to build it.
