im looking for a decent set of lights for my 306 1.6 phase 3 got a set from halfords and they are ok but none of them seem to be any good has anyone found any good ones or know of any. thanks in advance

By which you mean, headlights, rears interior?

HIDs are crap. Too damn bright, fed up of being blinded by other peoples.

Also, being a phase 2 you will have the frosted headlights yes? Get rid of them for some crystals, then get some ice white normal bulbs....

Im with Tom on this one. I'd recommend Osram Nightbreakers, as ive got them in my headlights, and noticed a fair improvement from standard bulbs, especially on high beam. They're a little bit whiter than your average bulb, not by much, but i cant really fault them.

hid will fail an mot if the headlight has a plastic cover and if there is no spray directly onto the lens to cool it down

Slightly wrong there. Plastic covers are fine. They need to be self levelling though. And the spray is not to cool them. The headlines require washers to try and prevent light scatter from dirt.

I really rate Philips blue vision. There bloody expensive (£30 for 2) but there miles better than night breakers and have a years warranty.
