A few of us ended up at Curt's this weekend, with the obvious outcome of shenanigans. As a group, we pride ourselves on being much more mature and intelligent than your average car-club member (see saxperience for details), and the evening's activities reflect this..:
We started by spending 20 minutes pointing and laughing at the remains of Ed's diablo; Dum-dum overheated his engine when sound testing the new exhaust while stationary; Jimmy spent most of the night pushing people off their chairs; and Matt threw up all down his car, again. I really don't understand why Curt keeps inviting us back...
The pinnacle of the evening was a rev-off between the various 6s/rallyes... After 15 minutes of seriously offensive stationary redline, Scott did the responsible bit and insisted we move on to a flaming competition. We has videos...
Scott's:
Matt's:
I failed to get a video of Matt's car doing its very best to go up in flames after this, as his heat-shield was resting on his (now extremely hot) exhaust mani. Not seen a heat-shield catch fire before, good effort Matt.
