Jonny, Yes i think it changes the cars rear end. IMO it makes the car a much more predictable
Cheers Dum

Good good can't wait to get all my new shiny bits on got new engine mounts, beam mounts both baker, ghaz coillies and compbrake top mounts ha ha can't wait
01-08-2012, 07:42 PM
Iv got some bbm engine mounts, very good on throttle respons, money well spent. Im runing APX coilovers again very good.
But......i have some comp brake top mounts bought at fcs and they are totaly wrong size (waiting for the issue to be resolved at the mo) so it may be worth taking some mesurements before you go ripping it all down. I think my wrong ones messure 165mm bolt hole centers.

Mine were on a 306 for less than 250 miles so I know they fit, if you want a car that handles well include a cage with your setup, just recently had my cage done and f*ck me what a difference, it's out again at the mo for painting and the difference is shocking
01-08-2012, 08:41 PM
I would like a cage, the thing is im going for more of a fast road car rather than a track car, i want to keep all my creature comforts and all the seats, so you think that a cage really ups the rigidity f the car then?
01-08-2012, 08:46 PM
f*ck yeh the difference is night and day, if your covered ill let you have a go, obviously within reason, but you don't need to drive on the edge to notice the difference
01-08-2012, 09:12 PM
I can see what your saying , iv been thinking of making a brace to mount to the beam mounts and weld to the rear archs, to achieve somthing along the lines of a cage, but im unsure of the of the stress on the beam mounts and what benefit it would actually give in reality.
I would say take me for a passenger ride to feel the difference but ........................... that maybe little difficult

I have 2 seats at the mo she was moaning at the spare being in the bedroom lol

Ok guys i need your opinions on this.
Thinking of moving away from the OE look. Mainly the morettes and aftermarket wheels.
21-10-2012, 11:29 AM
Morretes look wank. Wheels look awesome. Although wrong stud pattern
TEAM CONROD SHITTING RALLYE!

Cant get the wheels in 4x108 so will have to be PCD adpters.
And morettes are porn . Your just weird
21-10-2012, 12:21 PM
I have just got morrettes think they are awsome! Haters gona hate, wheels on that diablo look the tits
21-10-2012, 12:41 PM
looks phat but also like it with the black masks
can you get wheel adapters from 4x108-5x??? last time i looked one of the holes in the 5 stud part was always part covering one of the 4 stud holes
21-10-2012, 02:34 PM
Im not sure. I think there is a 5 stud pcd that does work with a 4x108 cant remeber though. They offer these wheels in a 4x100 so i'll be getting them in that patten so that i can use a vag to pug adapter.
JONNY. im glad some one see's sence on the morettes . Masks are becoming to common now .
21-10-2012, 03:39 PM
Have to say i'm more of a fan of the masks than the morettes.. they just don't look very 'smooth' next to the smooth bonnet and grill
21-10-2012, 04:18 PM
I think the morettes look fapping awesome!

If you were going to get 108 to 100 adapters for them they need to go on a mk1 fiesta. Im not a fan of those wheels TBH but they do look porn on a mk1 fez
