If I had the time to help clear up I would have! I'll see you again later in the week. Definitely need that heater matrix...

Its 99% my mess anyway. Yeah might take the other matrix out of the bottom car just so you have a selection to chose from

Before I went to work today (up at 4 45 working on the car til 7 45... dedication!!!) and after work I set about changing the looms over and installing all the other wiring for CL so on so fourth.
At present the loom inside the car is stripped down to bare basics so I'll need to remove that and replace it with a complete loom, then stick in the heater matrix and can put the dashboard back in with the complete loom.

There's a lot more to get done before my already postponed mot.
Thankfully mechanically the car is completely sound. Cambelt will be changed once the car is officially road worthy.

Got 4 days off now so expect considerable progress

I did suggest this, think of the weight saving, ide already done the hard work and got rid of all the useless things like electric windows central locking. even offered my cut down dash.

I have realised I can't be bothered making it all fit etc considering going back to the stripped loom but including audio into it as I don't think I could go without.

I feel like smashing my head against the wall. The hazards light switch on the complete loom looked stripped right back and I already had the idea in my head that I wanted the stripped loom in just to mot it... so start taking apart dash and loom again ready to transfer the stripped in and pull back carpet to disconnect rear, and there is the hazards box connector what a waste of time
