right some may know the DT decided to commit suicide so im looking for a new car, not getting till xmas time ish but im torn between a 205 or another 3door dt? just wondering pros and cons for both compared to each other and what would insurance be ect

well it some how blow a hole in bottom end on idle and tbh needed full brake and suspension set up doing along with body work, rather get something half decent and slowly do it up since i got it as a bag of spanners to start with

plus im only planning on spending 500-600 quid so i know its not gonna be mint and may need work but whats the thought on the matter?

306 all the way, IMO a 205 is gonna need a bit more work

Afaik the suspension and brakes are pretty much the same.
I personally wouldn't own a car as old as a 205 though....see Ginge's beam for the reason why.
