what's wrong with it mate? just drop another engine in, it's gotta be cheaper..

RE: sourcing a new car - the milkman - 03-11-2012

well it some how blow a hole in bottom end on idle Confused and tbh needed full brake and suspension set up doing along with body work, rather get something half decent and slowly do it up since i got it as a bag of spanners to start with

RE: sourcing a new car - the milkman - 03-11-2012

plus im only planning on spending 500-600 quid so i know its not gonna be mint and may need work but whats the thought on the matter?

RE: sourcing a new car - Jonny81191 - 03-11-2012

306 all the way, IMO a 205 is gonna need a bit more work

RE: sourcing a new car - the milkman - 03-11-2012

RE: sourcing a new car - the milkman - 04-11-2012

Well that's what I was hoping dan Smile I don't know much about 205's though Confused like about the suspension brakes ect

RE: sourcing a new car - Poodle - 04-11-2012

I'm sure you'll learn just as quick as you have with the 306, it's not much different.

RE: sourcing a new car - Toms306 - 04-11-2012

Afaik the suspension and brakes are pretty much the same. Smile

I personally wouldn't own a car as old as a 205 though....see Ginge's beam for the reason why. Tongue

RE: sourcing a new car - the milkman - 17-11-2012
