Fellas, need a bit of advice. The car's been picked to be in the Meguiar's Top 15 on PFC day at Knockhill, which is brilliant news. I need to do some major tidying up though.
Here's my decisions I need to make, if you could take time to answer the questions i'd appreciate it.
1. Front bumper: Keep the cable tied repair or redo the whole thing? Bear in mind it's a daily driver, not a show car. Ghetto vs clean?
2. Ride height: Lower it at the show or keep it as it is? Can go down around another inch if I went static
3. Engine bay: What bits should I paint? Cam cover, touch up inlet mani, intercooler pipes in front bumper?
4. Bootlid: thinking of removing the rear badge. Thoughts?
Any other bits people can suggest? The car isn't going to be immaculate but some bits really need tidied up. The cable ties imo add an element of "BecuaseDailyDriver" to it, a bit of character. Hmm...

Leave the cable ties IMO, the drifters seems to love it atm.
and definitely smooth the boot, will set the rear off nicely

1. Cable ties.
2. Keep it as it is, if you're going with "it's a daily" then I'd stick with it.
3. Cam cover is always a good one, and general clean up. XUD's don't do pretty!
4. Always been a fan of smooth boots. Not sure on an the estate... I say go for it.

Then it's decided, cable ties are staying. Managed to get the boot done today, got a couple of runs in the clear though so need to wet sand it tomorrow and possibly another coat, which is annoying...
