Guys,
Hows it going??
I just went to changed my Gearbox oil on my 2.0 HDi, and found that the oil was like metalic silver paint.
Starange init!
Also there was only under a litre, where as autodata says it sould have 2l.
Can someone please help as im confused.

The oil may have not been changed for ages or even changed at all. As for only having about a litre in there could be down to the drive shaft seals leaking over time and the level not being checked

Sounds like it had lots of metal bits in it and didnt have the 2litres it should have in it!?!

Didnt spot any leaks, looking at history car has never had a oil change, drained 700ml, had a few metal bits init.

Any ideas on how many kg the gearbox is? want to see if i can get a delivery via interparcel.
