Fair enough it won't be a hybrid, but there not really necessary for these.
You can get bargains though, my TD04 was £23, my GT20 was £50, and it was mint, fully cleaned etc. Need to look out for badly advertised things on Ebay.
Yep agreed but the question I was asking is have most people with a td04 had the wastegate welded for it to fit??
Or atleast with cj's adaptors??
Yeah most people do, I did. It is harder to fit the actuator down the back. I wouldn't worry too much about it over speeding and blowing it, they are pretty bulletproof. Just get an EGT gauge to keep an eye on temps.
Downside of welded gate, you need to run less fuel than if you had a gate, which will decrease power slightly. Still make good power though.
Thats the answer I was looking for! Was only saying this because I have a tmic and was planning on keeping it for a while.
So i would be running it on 22 / 25 psi and was concerned about the fuel I would need to be running, If it was possible
Cheers
