im gonna give the engine bay on my '6' a good ol' clean and was also thinking about spraying a few little bits, fuel rail, hose clips top engine mount bracket etc, and any other little rusty parts, was thinking of spraying them red but unsure if it will clash with the china blue. thoughts? suggestions on any other colours also.

Yes, it'll look horrible. You're fairly limited for colours that would work, IMO. Keep it subtle... Sliver, white, maybe gold.

Yeah personally I wouldn't go red with blue.
I have a blue carpet I really want to put in my diablo for the rarity, but I think it'll look wrong. But it will be the only blue in the car.

you would or wouldnt?
putting in a blue carpet is quite big part, but just spraying the odd little engine part might not look to bad

"Might not look bad" is completely subjective, so if you think it will look good then go for it. You asked for our views and mine is that it will look shit.

Edited it for you.
With the carpet it is a big part but people who know 306s will know why it's there.

okay, so your view is that it will look shit (fair enought), doesnt mean the topic/thread is over. still wanna see if anyone else has any opinions on the matter

I don't understand the first line of that post. I don't get why you're getting so defensive. You've asked for opinions and I've given mine. Obviously others may have a different one, but if you want to do it anyway, don't ask!

Yes red with china will look crap.
Gold looks surprisingly good though. If you want a 'loud' colour, Kawasaki green.

yeah, that's the plan, just little things like rusted/corroded hose clips etc.
