Just work out the gauge and order it by the meter on ebay...5ms is plenty for positive and a meter for negative/earth
Then the required solder on ends ![]() Wishes for more power...

Go to scrap yard
Pick up BMW rear battery leads Pay £5 for them as "its just a bit of cable" Run under car in copex to protect from element Mount battery (ensuring its vented to outside) Job done
Team Eaton
1999 China Blue 306 GTi6 - Eaton Supercharged - 214.5bhp 181lbft
Might be a daft question but why vented to the outside?
What gauge will I need? Looking at 300amp one 40mm'2 that to thick/over the top
just bought some cable to do mine 290 amp 35mm £20 for meters
£20 for 5 meters

Properly depends how big u battery is reading on gti6 forums they run 35mm with out any problems just need to make sure u get a sold earth for it

get as big as you can afford
but as said, easy to buy by the meter and solder terminals on (solder like plumbing solder + blowtourch, not tiny little circuit soldering iron stuff) - welding wire is normally pretty good and flexible. or set of bmw cables has got to be good. also no one has mentioned putting a fuse in! I've got a big 300amp fuse between the positive battery terminal and everything else, just incase it decides to short itself on its route to the engine bay.

Hmm a fuse! That's a good idea. Not got one on mine. I will get a breaker so can trip it to isolate battery

Lol, this is effort!! But you want thicker than standard as you'll get a voltage drop cause of the extra distance
