Tyre stretch is your best bet. Best I can do is 195/50/15 on 8" and 225/40/18 on 8.5"
I i was fitting 195 50 15 on 7" wheels what would i fit to the rear to best match the profile size and side wall angle on 8" wheels?
Is it possible to fit 205 on the front of a 306 without rolling the arch?

If you want 8j rims you are going to need some stretch and a lower profile to get them in. All depends on how low you are how much work you need

Iv got some other plans for the rear so it not a problem there

Yeah, the 195/15 Pirelli p6000's (yes I know, got them cheap) I have on the van hardly look stretched at all on an 8.5j wheel.
