How long?
#1
So I've seen a lot of what cars have you owned and what did you have before pug etc... I'm interested in how long you've owned your car(s) for? An average is fine if you're like a few on here who change cars more than they change their pants...

Between me and Danny, we've had our HDi for 4 years now and has been our most reliable car! The 6' has lasted a year and a half and now up for sale (don't want to see her go!) and dannys first car, spaxo, lasted him just over a year..

Fire away!
Interested to know who's owned one for the longest!

I've been driving 9 years, had 12 306s and a f*ck load of other stuff too so I reckon about a car every 3-4 months on average. I did have 6 months + without a car when I didnt let myself drive after nearly killing myself in a car crash

Had my Saab 3 years. 1.8 306 5 years

Tried to sell the Saab last year, but discovered people are only willing to pay £3.50 for one, so had to keep it.....

Silver hdi (project) has been my longest ownership, currently on 3 years and a month. I'm fairly sure a couple on here have had theirs from new, deeturbo and c2k iirc.

Think I average 1 car every 9 months or so..Used to chop and change more often when I was younger but I Cant be arsed with the hassle now nowadays. I've had the van over 2 years and the Coupe for nearly a year (thats going soon though) The vans paid for itself now and I'd keep the car if I could justify a toy.

Had my one and only HDi since I was 16 now, so a little over 4 years. Don't know if I'll ever be able to bin it off tbh, will be worth so little and I won't be buying anything until I can afford a substantial step up, so may as well keep a hold of it as a project. Or better yet keep it as a daily and buy a second car, as it's been bloody faultless for the time I've had it.

The longest I've kept a car was the sedan Tbh, nearly 6 months lol.

Had the truck tub in parts for over a year but that's made out of loads of different 306s and has already been reshelled so doesn't really count lol.

I plan to keep the rallye for a long time though, first car I've actually thought that about lol
