hi all looking for some advise basicly when open and shut front doors on my 306 thy make a horrible click sound read it could be door pins are these hard to replace/expensive any one got any ideas if it could be thingelse any help be much apriceated sorry bout my crap spelling lol

Oil the check straps might work

Its rarely the check strap clicking itself, its normally the pin that mounts the bodywork to the check strap. Either replace it (£2 from pug (but be careful there are two different sizes through the phases) ) or put a bolt with a nylock on it through, but don't nip it up too tight.

my pins seem to be dead lose that lose u can push the pin up by ya finger and to oil is wd40 ok and no sounds stjpid but wich bit the check strap

Iv got the same thing, door makes a slight thunk when the strap tightens when the door opens to certain positions

i just been told u can bend it back so stop clicking might hace look but dumped loads grease on passenger door strap and seems lot better
