Quick question do the door cards have to come of to get check straps out? Mine are terrible and dont want what happened last time. Drivers seized and I was miles away from my tools so I slammed door shut, its snapped and dinted my door

Yeah door cards have to come off, just a couple screws though.

Its rarely the check strap clicking itself, its normally the pin that mounts the bodywork to the check strap. Either replace it (£2 from pug (but be careful there are two different sizes through the phases) ) or put a bolt with a nylock on it through, but don't nip it up too tight.
