Convertible 306 beam fit a estate ?
#1
Anyone know if the rear beam off a convertible 306 will fit a estate ? Found a 51 plate low milage convertible in the scrap yard just wondered if they are any different ?

Yeeeeeeep

But if your eastate ph2 you will need to swap a few things about. If your estae is ph3 it will be a straight swap

The estate will probably have bigger torsion bars in it to handle the load weight!

Ph3 have a different ABS System that dosnt need a brake load sensor. There for the beam doesnt have a load sensor and slightly different lines

Ph2 has a ABS system. That needs a load sensor that is attached to the beam and runs aload more lines.

Some ph1s / pov spec ph2 have no ABS there for no brake load sensor. But again i think the lines differ from a non load sensor beam because of the ABS.

If you handy with the spanners and problem solving you can easily get around this by swapping the lines and brake load mounts about from beam to beam

So yeah you just need to swap some lines and the beam/shock/ brake load mount < all one mount
