Fuel sender?

My fuel gauge stopped today, and I've found the culprit. My fuel sender is buggered, so I'm wondering what ones I can use? Does it have to be from a GTi-6? I know it needs to be phase 1 as they're separate unlike phase 2's...

Also, anyone got one? I'm going to try the scrappy tomorrow if I get a chance but if I have no luck I'll still need one.
