1999 306 3 door hdi moonstone
Im just testing water im wanting only no rush to get swap/sell

This is my 1999 306 hdi with 162,000 miles (Going up as using it daily)

Good bits

Half leather seats
4 air bags
Power steering
Electric windows/sunroof
R/C/L (needs new battery in fob)
New aux belt 1000 miles ago
2 new tyres (not yet fitted but on there way to me)

Probably loads more but will update when i remember

Bad bits
Body work not great a few car park dints, lacquer peel on spoiler
Slight rip in drivers bolster
The clutch is only JUST holding the toque it would really benefit form a clutch upgrade

Think thats every thing will update when if theres anything else

MODS
Tinted windows
Digtal boost gauge
Front mount intercooler
De-Back box
De-cat (empty cat)
K&N Panel filter
Center console painted moonstone
Custom painted boot badge
De-wiper back
Air con removed

The car is still running a 140bhp 240ftlb's toque (aprox) the clutch is only just holding this power have occasional slip in 4th/5th up hill on full throttle it only slips at 2,000rpm will bite agin around 2,500rpm, i think it will re bed in but unsure. The car comes with about £200 worth or remap files i have full toque, launch, egr map, a range of limited toque maps, then 120bhp map and the 140bhp map thats on it now.

The car now has phase 3 bump strips color coded to the car but these are the newest pics i have

Sorry dude but you've not got a chance in hell of getting £1500 for it!
I'm not being a dick or anything just being truthful!
IMHO you'd be lucky to get £900 for it!

Like I said I'm not being a dick or anything!
There was a 50k, one owner Hdi that went for similar money on eBay not all that long ago!

Why don't you just get a cheapo dt? I only paid 500 for my 90k dt sedan!

A swap would be your best bet dude, £1500 is a no chance imo. You dont get your money back on mods, and buying already modded cars is boring :p

Good luck in finding your dt, seem to
Be less and less around by the day!

To be fair I would have been in two minds wether to spend £600 on it tbh, I would have been tempted to break it tbh! Like RePt said you'll never see your money back on it!
Couldn't you have got a second hand pump?

probly but then its a risk could have lasted 2 weeks or 2 years who knows.... if i can source a clutch cheap to hold the toque i will consider keeping it, ive replaced every thing else might as well replace clutch

Yeah but if you got a second hand one with warranty (deatons will usually give a 30day) it's worth the risk to save £400!

Thanks but to much for me would rather buy on from motor factors round here at least if any thing was wrong I can take it back and for the sake of £15 extra I would rather do it that way. Thanks, any way

Ok chances of it "falling to bits" is very unlikely. But as I say it's a brand new clutch pressure plate and thrush bearing. All valeo from £85 you ain't going to beat that.

Your warranty on a standard clutch is irrelevant when your remapping... its bound to start slipping eventually.. standard/OEM clutch is designed for standard/OEM power... it may be able to hold more but its not designed to.. tis why I leaned away from a berlingo clutch

Glwts. If you have receipts for all the work done someone may want to meet you in the middle considering mileage/general condition

Im defo considering the berlingo clutch as im not planing to have massive amounts of toque i would be happy with 250-280ftlbs depending on how i get on with the cutting out issue (which i haven't had since i had new pump on) just not sure what to do as really would like a d turbo so i can run on veg....... no idea what to do lol just doing my homework on the berlingo clutch now and going from there.....

Why don't you put the Hdi back to standard and get rid then?
No point chucking more money at it to get it to stage 2 then getting rid!

Swap for yours?? Im on my way ;-) lol wouldnt do clutch swap my self/ with help, I once did a saxo vtr clutch took me about 3 days lol and will be alot harder on this, just need to find a clitch that will hold the toque for a long period of time i.e 4-5years, and will feel like a normal clutch to drive. Then I will keep this..... Really dose put a smile on my face the the clutch grips and it just takes off lol
