Pro's -
Booost, Cons - Lack of control of said boost. Lol I'm also interested in the information here.
On the 306 waiting list.

Basically as above lol, mine is welded shut, if its a standard turbo don't bother IMO, welded gates need to be controlled by the amount of fuel as there is no wastegate to do that if you weld it up

In reality you will make more power with a welded gate, but its a horrendously inefficient way of producing more power, completely the wrong way to go about turbocharger tuning, but its free, and it works

I am wondering about this for the future setup of 11mm pump and TD04L-19t hybrid, Although im worried about spacing issues once its got a bigger inlet housing than the 13t and 15g and then will have a actuator on. i am also wondering what the turbo would be boosting with a welded gate and biggish pump
Im currently ruinning TD04 with welded gate and think the 9mm may have some more to go yet and runnin 30psi atm CJ ![]()

I'm running a welded gate K04. It's ok so far, but I know it's not going to last at 30psi so I'll be building another with a wastegate on.
