ok so most likely have the car sorted today and was just wondering with the the engine lying about for a while would it harm it the t2 been de-wastegated and the fuel uped? (pump and turbo of old engine) or would i be safier tuning the fuel down? thanks in advance jonny

will be fine mate, just dont boot it for the first 5miles or so just to make sure and if all seems fine coal out the street

Don't dewastegate.... I can't bare this latest obsession with it... Have a look through some of my previous rants about it and you'll understand why... Fuel turned up is fine...

it already was de-wasgted ruan it will have a waste gate soon enough cheers for advice though
