Are the sumps the same on all XUD models.
I've currently got an XUD7 (Peugeot 205 - 1.8 DT) and receiving an XUD9 (Peugeot 406 - 1.9 DT) with a damaged sump.
Are these sumps the same?

And yes, bolt pattern is the same, can be issues with oil pump pickup, but oil pump can be swapped.
Ah yes, XUD7!
Spot on, thanks, shall have a play when it arrives and see what happens!

Continuing with this - both sumps removed.
XUD7 sump 'fits' apart from a locating pin on the XUD9 block (which i can file down) and the screw holes are in different locations on the two longer edges.
Rather than buying a new XUD9 sump, could I get away with drilling new holes along the longer edges with a liquid gasket ?

Just to confirm, both oil pumps are the same - removed the XUD7 pump and compared - they're like for like
