Hi all. Had my aux belt snap on me.....again!! And a bit of it had tangled up in the timing belt. It juMped a few teeth on the pump and the cam and was running like a bag of old spanners. I've re timed the belt but now it won't start from the key at all unless the engines warmed right up and had a horrible tapping noise. Is this bent valves? If so how hard are they to swap over? Thanks

That would sound like bent valves to me a head swap is easy although it maybe worth putting a whole engine in these are really easy to pull out couple hours max for some one that's never done one then same to stick new one in.
I do have a good engine for sale removed running and on 115k comes ready to drop in
