Hello my fan is on its last legs making noises and stopping alot the brushes are warn out im guessing is it possible to replace these or is it a new motor job?

		Easier to bang a motor in it. Takes 5 mins. Second hand ones can be had for a tenner. I paid a fiver for mine off a low mileage car from scrappy

		They can, but it's probably easier to fit a secondhand motor, I've got 2 here I stripped with the aim of rebuilding them with better/quieter bearings, etc, to sell on after a rebuild - but it just got to the point where the timescale involved wasn't worth it, the motor itslef comes out easily but stripping further from there is a pain.
