Cill trims
#1
Just thought I would post up the results from taking the cill trims off a 406 rapier and fitting them to the 306.

I think they look pretty neat. They where part of a scrounge from our local scrappy, also got a window/mirror control unit, 2 number plate light lenses, a automatic shade rear view mirror and loom. All cost a fiver after a haggle!

Info on the mirror at the end of this thread : http://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1366

They had about 8 406s in and one rapier. Also had some nice fully electric leather seats in. I reckon there is quite a few OEM + parts that could be put on the 306 from the 406 rapier. I will post up any bigger swaps I try! Would have had the steering wheel but the airbags had been blown.

looks good! Shame about you ripping off the back ones too fast! D: Just to let people know that the silver backing comes away from the gel so make sure you get a knife right under both layers and push it along the entire strip!

Itd be interesting to see if you can buy these new from peugeot. They fit the 306 pretty well! Big Grin

Anyone know if 406 seats will fit in the 306? I presume the fronts are the same but the rear bench is too wide?

You can get them for the 3dr from pug (yomans online) but there about 70 quid.
The 207 ones come up often on ebay and may fit.

Btw...I always thought it was sill........until we had windows replaced with PVC.....the order stickers read 'cill length x by x' :o

And my grandad was a chippy and always wrote it as 'cill'! Confusedhock:

Sam, I'd rather trust a window selling company than a pregnancy forum! lmao

Anyway, I think you can probably write it either way. :?
