Got a really annoying knocking noise seems to be coming from left side front & rear of the car, only when going over small bumps & potholes especially!! Sounds like the parcel shelf is having a fit.
My enitial thinking is that it's something to do with suspension, but could really narrow this down.
Also, the rear of my car sounds like a squeeky door when I get in or out, I think the rear axle is on it's way out I'm trying to source a cheap enough replacement!
Any thoughts
Cheers, mike

Anti roll bar drop links are a common source of knocking and are cheap and easy to replace

If the beam is on its way out that can knock when it gets bad enough.
Droplinks would certainly be my first port of call though as 306's seem to be pretty hard on them and cheap pattern ones can be dead in just a few months.

I've got what sounds like the same problem on my drivers front but drop links feel tight. Gonna try new drop links anyway as they're cheap enough.
