T2 Boost?
#1
Whats the most that people have ran on a t2 boost wise?
as mine is acting strange boost wise, running 1.5 bar, but it drops right off then picks up to 1 bar,
AFAIK I have no boost leaks.

Will upload a video up soon.

Maybe blocked fuel filter? What's your smoke situation like when the boost is being ghey?

its smokey when cold, but just a slight haze when on full chat. fuel filter was changed about 4.5k miles ago.

Could it be LDA setup? as the pump is standard, apart from fuel matched to the boost. havn't rotated or ground the LDA, or a GOV mod yet (no point with a standard t2)

There is a point doing gov mod and ground pin with a t2 it still makes a difference
The bosches gov starts to cut fuel at 3k.

Turn the LDA round to the more aggressive side then turn the strew out wards on the LDA cap. Take the plastic washer out also. Then turn the star nut anticlock wise two turns Smile. What I did running 24 psi and it flew lol

Only thing I can think of is the D Seal, as I have a inlet adaptor rather than a xantia manifold.

Inlet manifold maybe? You using a d seal? I just used blue hylomar on my inlet adapter, scraped both surfaces clean gave them a scruff up with sand paper then a shit load of blue!

I had the inlet adaptor, tried everything but was still kicking out boost. So I got a old rubber radiator hose cut it in half then made a template of the adaptor. Worked a treat no more boost leeks for me Big Grin Worth a try I didn't think it would work until I did it Big Grin
