It doesn't owe me much money so it's all good. I just hope the down pipe is at the correct angle as one of the bolts accidentally got welded up.

Precisely and let's face it this particular turbo is rare so I'd never get to find another with that housing so I could just put in another cartridge if it does blow.

I did something similar with my td04 on a k14 manifold.
Although i did allow some adjustment.

I cut the bolt pattern off a broken k14 turbo, cut the elongated triangle off a td04 and welded those together then bolted it to the manifold.... Still working and no bulkhead issues.

people have been welding turbos on for years, my T25 and td04 were both welded on, that was like 2.5 years ago lol
