I'd like to keep my paint thank you very much lol
so any tips? a bit has chipped on the underside of the arch. Should I use some hammerite? ![]()

if its chipped theres no way to fix it, so just get the hammers out and be done with it

But will it not rust?
I can get hold of a roller and heat gun Sunday but I'm for a cruise Sunday and need the car down. Steel bar? ![]()

Just pull the lip out a bit, I did it on my 106 with banded steels and it gave it the clearance, doesn't damage paint
29-03-2013, 09:27 PM
be careful though if its chippng already...I gave mine a tug when i had some stupid 17s on that were scrubbing and the whole edge of paint flaked off!
Wishes for more power...
I will try and bodge something tomorrow lol. The Coilovers are now right down with helpers in.

What you not like? The paint is anthracite but kinda has a purply tint to it which I didn't expect

Its only paint, get some mates in the back and get a crack bar out to flare the arches, YouTube it, worked for most of my cars, but I had 9s on lol

Yeah I saw that, might give it a bash. So did you just accept having paintless arches then? lol

Well on the estate it never mattered because I painted it, and I never cared on any other car, I mean come on... These cars are worth about £500, just slam it and flare those bad boys.

Thanks mate, I've rolled the arches and it clears at that height now. I plan to flare them a bit and get it a bit lower though. But as it is currently the arch basically sits on the tyre with people in the back. Thicker torsion bars would be handy lol
