If anyone is interested I can get genuine oe 306 tpp steering column bearing dg 138 they are 12 quid each plus 3 quid postage

Yea, I might be interested. Have you actually changed one of these? I've not seen anything online to show that anyone has successfully replaced them, only someone on the 306gti6 forum who got as far as pulling the roller cage out but left rubber outer piece behind. There was some debate about whether the wear was on the bearings, the column itself or whether the rubber outer part perished. Any thoughts?
