A mate of mine has got a 54 plate expert it's a 1.9 dw8 engine, the issue is i has a intermittent no glow plug warning light, meaning it won't start. I've tried a straight 12v to plugs still won't fire, the garage he took it to first told him they changed the crank sensor? I didn't think they had a crank sensor? Correct me if I'm wrong?
So any one have any idea what would be causing it because when the warning light does work it starts straight away with out issue.

As above, should barely need glow plugs on a DI this time of year.

Yeah they are idi last of the idis. funny sort of mix the mounts dont quite line up for a bosch pump as they share the block castings with the dw10. But its easy enough to fit a fully mechanical bosch on them

Thanks for the good times guys n gals. I might be back. Who knows.
