And i dont know if its the same for 306's as it is for saxo's but where the orange plugs are, the polarity of the cables switches over. SO it's not red-to-red, it's be something like yellow-to-red and red-to-yellow.
Not sure if it is the same because I fitted gti6 seats in my XS (exactly same age as his) and all the plugs matched up. Not only that but the cutouts in the plugs meant you could only plug one into one. Couldn't get them mixed up!

Ah fair enough. Might have to take one of my seats out at the weekend and see where the earth lead leads to on the seat. Maybe if we earth this on grants seat it will cure the problem?!

it is an Earth it is connected to the side airbag casing and also to the seatbelt clip
yellow plug
wire colour green/
Red plug
side airbag
orange plug
pretensioners
So theoretically we could just link the earth on the body loom to the casing of the airbag? Not sure I want to f*ck about doing things like that. Airbags scare me! Lol

Really? Mines got the earth cable in but I'm sure there is no cable running into the seatbelt plug! If there is I might wack a bulb in the dash and see if it works!
