Hi all,
Fitted a boost gauge on my D turbo earlier, when I cut the boost compensator pipe it was full of oil, im guessing this is new turbo time?

nah, they can pass a bit of oil for a fair while and not give up the ghost
it will have just accumulated there over a period of time

if I said its been running 26psi for a while now would you say the same?
I want to fit a better turbo anyway at some point, just don't want it to go pop yet lol

Could be oil from the breather pipes anywy. every one ive had was the same.

It's probably not the turbo, more the oil breather.

Seem to remember Ruan pulling this pipe off my boost gauge in my car, before being covered in oil as I came on boost.
