Bit of a project I have been doing in my spare time, using it for work so I'm not racking up the mileage on my 207.
Was asking the previous owner for around 18months if it was for sale.
Had a random call one evening saying do you still want the 106?
£200 later it was mine moted until sept 2015 & a decent mileage of 75K
Once home it had a major clean, 22 year old white leather was horrid.
Been doing bits like clones Xsi spoiler, arch extensions ect
Couple of pictures I'm working on each weekend getting ready for the shows this year.

200 is a fantastic price for what is a very rare and quite (weirdly) cool car!

Thanks all, yeah its in really good condition tbf given the odd mark here & there.
Waiting on the warmer weather to clay & machine polish it.
I done the standard Roland Garros wheels white at first but being 13"s they looked crap.
I have some pictures Which I'll upload of when I first bought it looking very sorry for its self.
Chris I was looking at the Xsi kit but not wanting to cut the rear arch I kinda went off the idea.

I'd leave it standard tbh, be more of a rare classic in time to come, but the xsi kit wasn't bad to fit tbh you do have a cut that's open to be seen so is risky.

It's OK Sam, passenger & rear seats cleaned up perfect with a nail brush, drivers seat has bolster wear which I'm trying to find a mint one.

Just a little 1400, that been said they weigh naff all so it's nippy for what it is.
Well it's faster than my 1.4Hdi 207 that's for sure.

What wheels are you going to change them to?the clone look huge.
Maybe some 90's wheels like 205 gti's on 106 s1 steelies.

Been looking at 1.9 speedlines, I only put the Clones on last weekend & if I'm honest there a liitle wide for the rear arches.
S1 steels are a good shout, I have 5 Saxo Vtr steels here I might whack the flat seated rings off them & see what they look like.

Love the car.
Cant abide the wheels or plastic arch jobbys myself, but it's not my car.
Two of my mates had these and they were nippy little motors, lovely interior and handle well standard, even better with a 30mm drop.

Cyclones are too rounded/modern, lasers would look alright I reckon. Not a fan of Rallye steels myself.

Awesome car, soft spot for a phase 1 106. They handle so well. Keep us updated. I agree it could do with a wheel change, a set of 14" compomotives would look the nuts. Possibly a set of ch's painted gold to go with the green.

Scrapped a set of lazers a few weeks ago Tom, bloody heavy things.
as for Rallye steels I'll have a look what these Vtr steels look like in white before spending out on a decent set.
No Sam its just a Flat arch kit that was a optional extra from new on standard 106's
Go for a decent price when they come up for sale so may go yet.
