I was wondering if any of you who have ripped out your air con, kept the pipes?
I am looking for the pipe with the springlock fitting (circled in photo) that starts from under the fuel pipes on the left hand side of the engine and goes round the back of the engine and finishes up on right handside going into the body.
Why i ask is that i'm trying to design/cobble together some sort of clamp to hold that pipe to the pipe that comes into it with the flange from the compressor pump. My spring clip is broken.
The condition of the pipe doesn't matter. I just want to try a few different ways of doing it outwith the car first.
