project2! 5dr hdi dturbo

well after a balls up of the first project im on to my next and this one im happy with, only bought it today and done some to it so far, she a 00 hdi dturbo,

this is how i got it,




















gave it a quick clean and changed the front alloys to spare silver ones for the time being,

bumper and headlights out, have a spare blue one there for it just need a headlight




any comments are welcome and ideas

things to be done:
•brake pads all round
•tires all round
•new bumper(resprayed)
•tint windows and sunstrip
•interior cleaned
•different cd player
•lower it
•good wash and polish
•spray alloys(colour ideas pleasee)
•straight pipe

Got ya work cut out for ya on that one but looks a good base for a project. As for alloys imo I think a nice brite silver and keep it clean.

thanks a fair bit of work but i have most things there for it, i would go white but its a hassle keeping them clean,

White is alright but its been done to much. I just think it looks better when you got a nice tidy clean set of alloys. Especially with some nice lows.

its either white or silver, maybe a dark grey.. badly needs some lows

yep twas, i get to learn a lot more on diesel engines so im happy and it keeps me busy

dont think so, its says on the log book hdi d turbo and badges on the doors

well i decided to attack it yesterday and sorted the radiators out and one fan was stuck,

its looking sorry for itself


it must of been crashed before, the bottom bar was bent so the radiators wouldnt sit in properly, that got sorted with a sledge


dont know can you see it bent


intercooler was taken out, it didnt work anyway and it was screwed


bumper put back to make sure it fits, and it wont the drivers side mount it all bent so the little round thing got taken out and a new hole drilled so it would fit,


its looking abit smarter now,


interior was stained badly so got a loan of a wet vac and i must say they are brilliant took them right out


the engine, missing the cover but fairly clean otherwise,

front tints and sun visor put on

smooth bonnet sprayed and lacquered








and got a set of crystals today so shall be black masking them soon

got my black masks done and on, getting some 40mm springs and shocks of a d turbo and a splitter so pictures shall be put up tomorow.

Ive got a 5dr hdi dturbo in black, fairly rare so ive heard, I could be wrong though

2 Years later and not much has changed 
Now stage 1+, Lowered 40mm, Straight through exhaust
   
   
Had red wheels for a while now.
   
Bought a dished wheel and boss
   
   
Back to OEM color wheels
