Just use a 2.5" pipe and put crinks in it for the bolt areas...easily done in a vice with chisel, then just flat weld to the plate...ive done it before to give clearance for bolts etc on lots of things, not just manifolds..

Meh im a farmer, but as long as its tidy / wont fail its fine imo, both of which are the case here...you wont need to bend that much anyway, probs just enough to keep weld bead away from the bolt hole...

so not going gearbox mounted now? but if it fits down the back then fairplay, much cheaper and less hassle

No change of plans, was hoping to get a mani but sale fell through. I would prefer a side mount but it's so much hassle ect.

Port the SHIT out of a K03 mani or a T2 and bring a pipe round, don't get hung up too much on length... As long as you can get it just over the gearbox, you'll be fine...
