Danny's Blaze D-Turbo

Some of you may know i have come back to a D-turbo.

Its changed a bit so i thought i would put a progress blog up.

I have had it 2 months now and this is how i got it.

3 month tax and 9 month mot meridian seats and 131k £350 couldn't turn it down some say the colour made it cheap but i like it

How i got it.



The 205 rims had to go so got some 'clones for £70 with good tyres



Got some exhaust pipe



A bit of grinding and welding later you get this



I then bought a ZX Turbo D volcane for spares and robbed this off it, bosch time.



Also got a GTI6 back axle off it and got this fitted.

Got some coilies and now it looks like this





And the latest purchase ....



If you cant make out from the shocking picture its TD04 boost time!

Think its coming along nicely for 2 months work.

Also got PH3 crystals to mask, ph3 bootlid (getting smoothed) PH3 front bumper and some skirts to get painted and fitted.

Not really done any modifications mainly replacing parts.

Rebuilt the wishbones with new bushes and ball joints, replaced the driveshaft and droplinks everything on the front is new apart from the track rod ends that will be getting changed soon.

On another note i am now boosting with the TD04

thats before i put the elbow on.

I love it glad i went for a bigger blower. very driveable starts boosting under 2k nice for cruzing speeds and full boost like 3k comes on boost savage.

Dont know the next stage to take it to anyone got any ideas?

Think 40 PSI is plenty of boost! ill be collecting bits for a fmic soon

Wow, what happened?

someone in a f*cking mondeo flung the rear door open into the wing mirror both windows went through, bent door and rear quarter.

100% wrote off.

Some young kid who was in the back of his dads Mondeo must have flung it straight open to do that much damage it picked the car up off its wheels!

I'm gutted yea gone through insurance, deffo write off would need a new rear quarter welding in and a new door plus cost of labour and paint not going to be a economical repair as insurance say.

I was boosting 40 psi + on the td04 but there was epic coal. Turned it down to 30psi a few days ago I'm missing proper boost already

I'm on the look out for another hoping I can buy mine back I spent loads on new wishbones driveshafts ect but yea I'm after another

40 PSI on a top mount ... nice bet that went well im only running 30psi on fromt but rubber pipes that came on the car expand wayyyy tooo much scared of running more for now til i get a stainless setup

it went really well the civic type r wasnt happy with me on his bumper lol
