replaced my standard knob with a sparco one, pulled the plastic stuff off from underneath. now i want a hdi knob, and i have no plastic stuff to make it fit properly. anywhere i can get some?

insulation tape round the gearstick and tap the gearknob on with your palm job done

Impossible to get off in one piece haha.
And I user insulation tape with the sparco one it still works its way loose
Try using Duct tape instead......and a little more of it lol. That's what I used and my gear knob stays put.
Failing that get a second hand gear stick with the plastic section for the gear knob from a scrappers, they're easy enough to remove as long as you can get under the car you're taking it off. |
