I have new injectors to fit on my 6 but was thinking of painting the fuel rail at the same time.
Any top tips? I assume remove pressure regulator and injectors. Block any holes, key then spray?

Yeh I dont think its anything special. if you can get any fuel resistant paint I guess thats a bonus. They normally look pretty terrible so id make sure you get any rust off properly and possibly some rust treatment.

Thank you got some kurust and will give it a good sand down. When fitting the new injectors will it be okay to use Vaseline to lube the injectors? Would make sense to me but seems not everyone agrees online... I have silicone grease i could use instead...?

The place I got my injectors reconditioned said just to use a little clean engine oil. I guess the o-rings are nitrile rubber n oil won't affect them.
