Just as a matter of curiosity, has anyone ever put a 1.1 head on a 1.4 block ? I was thinking of the swap you can do on the mk3 Fiesta's where you can put the 1.1 head on the 1.3 head and it increases compression or something (can't remember exactly) but it gave me the idea.
Anyone done it ?

no point, the 1.1 and 1.4 heads are essentially identical, the only difference is the runner diameter on the exhaust iirc, couple of mm smaller,

If you're looking to tune the 1.4 TU engine then have a look at the saxo boys. They will have been more likely to have done stuff with them in the saxo furios

Most of the saxo boys would probably just tell you to use the 1.6 16v tbh
